If you were unable to attend this year’s Fall Retreat, please talk to some of the ladies in your area who attended and find out a little more about the great weekend that we experienced as we studied scripture, relaxed and had time to get to know each other better. About 250 ladies attended this year’s retreat.
Two collections were taken during the weekend. As a result, the Scholarship Fund will receive $934.84 and A Place of Refuge will receive $2,804.52. The collection total was $3,739.36. We also had the mite box out and collected $240.00 which will be put in the mite fund.
Be sure to set aside September 28-30, 2012, for the next Fall Retreat. It will again be held at the Green Lake Conference Center. Our keynote speaker will be Dr. Paul L. Maier. Dr. Maier is the Russell H. Seibert Professor of Ancient History at Western Michigan University and a much-published author of both scholarly and popular works.
