It is an honor for our SWD LWML to have a fellow LWMLer nominated for a National LWML office. Carolyn Blum, former LWML President of our South Wisconsin District, is on the slate of candidates for the National LWML Convention in Peoria, IL. She is a candidate for the office of Vice President of Servant Resources. In this office, the VP would coordinate the Servant Resources Department, which consists of the Leader Development Committee, Structure Committee, and the Mission-Ministry Vision (MMV) Consultant Task Force and represent the National LWML Executive Committee at District Conventions. Carolyn is very active in LWML at the district and the national level. At the present time, Carolyn is Associate Editor and News Editor for Lutheran Women’s Quarterly, Mission-Ministry Vision Consultant for the district, and district convention co-chair. She has enjoyed going on several MOST Mission Trips, being able to share her faith with others. Carolyn earned a B.B.A. in Personal Management from the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater, and majored in Behavioral Sciences at Mt. Mary College in Milwaukee. We wish you well, Carolyn, and pray that God would continue to bless you as you “Serve the Lord with Gladness.”
