The LWML national convention is right around the corner, and, like you, Concordia Publishing House is looking forward to this exciting event in Peoria, Illinois. We applaud the Gifts from the Heart initiative that LWML has put together to help provide needed resources to agencies in Peoria and to the Orphan Grain Train. And we are thrilled that LWML suggests Arch Books as items to include in this initiative. You know Arch Books for their long history of furthering Bible literacy; this initiative supports that work by providing Arch Books to even more children.
Concordia Publishing House has received permission from President Jan Wendorf to contact you with a special opportunity. For every Arch Book purchased by LWML members for Gifts from the Heart, CPH will double the number of books distributed through the initiative. We encourage you to pass this information on to your district members by sending them the attached flyer.
Here’s how the program works.
LWML members can purchase Arch Books, in advance of the convention, for the special price of $2.00 each (Retail Value $2.49). Orders should be emailed to Debbie Bochenek . We will process the orders and bring them to the convention you simply come to the CPH booth, pay for your order, and take your books to the Gifts from the Heart donation area. It’s that simple! CPH covers the shipping costs and offers convention participants the convenience of not having to travel with their purchase.
In addition, for every Arch Book purchased for the initiative before June 1, 2011, CPH will donate an additional Arch Book to Gifts from the Heart. This means that members will provide two Arch Books for the price of one!
Orders must be received by email on or before June 1, 2011. The $2.00 convention price on Arch Books is good through the convention. The two-for-one special offer is not valid at the convention. Orders to Debbie will not be processed after June 1st of 2011.
