International Student Ministry --

Luther Memorial Chapel, Shorewood --

Fall/Winter Activities, 2010 --

Want to be a missionary, but don’t have the time or funds to travel abroad? Well, God in His great wisdom has taken care of that; He has brought unchurched people from around the world right here to Wisconsin! Please consider using your missionary skills by volunteering through the International Student Ministry (ISM) at Luther Memorial Chapel, 3833 N. Maryland Avenue, Shorewood (6 blocks north of UW-M):

Reformation Party/Dinner (with pumpkin carving):
     Thursday, October 21, 6:30 p.m.

Thanksgiving Dinner:
     Sunday, November 14, 11:30 a.m.

Christmas Party and Caroling:
     Friday, December 10, 6:30 p.m.

English Classes and Conversation:
     Tuesdays—9 a.m. (Student Center)
     Thursdays—10 a.m. (Student Center and Library);
     Nursery volunteer also needed during this time.
     Thursdays 5 p.m.—(UW-M Union, Room 342)
    Conversation partners for individual students

 Office volunteers needed 1 or 2 hours a week.

You may also like to meet with students for regular worship and Bible study:
     Sundays—9 a.m. Worship; 10:30 a.m. Bible study.
     Mondays—7 p.m. Worship.
     Wednesdays—8:30 a.m. prayer service.
     Thursdays—9 a.m. Bible reading and conversation;
     5:30 p.m. is coffee, tea and conversation in the Union, Room 342.

Please pray about volunteering to develop relationships with international students which will provide opportunities to share your faith with them. For more information, please go to www.lmcusc.org or contact Bessie Fick, ISM Coordinator, at 414-477-9448 or email.
