 LWML members are Lutheran Women in Mission


     Through the LWML, thousands of volunteers daily dedicate their lives to making a difference in this world. They prepare for this through prayer and interesting, encouraging Bible studies.

    The LWML helps women of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod (LCMS) find avenues to use their God-given talents as they joyfully share the Good News of Jesus Christ with people far and near.  

    One of LWML’s primary means for carrying this out is through mite offerings donated by each member. These moneys fund mission grants – for the national LWML and also the South Wisconsin District LWML. See the list of 2014-2016 recipients Mites collected to date; and 2014-2016 Grant Descriptions

LWML SWD Convention Ingathering Final Report

The final report of the items gathered for the convention ingathering is in.  We tried to gather a total, but when eight large bags and three tall containers were brought in, it was too hard to keep up!  Over 1300 pairs of shoes and 2300 pairs of socks were counted.  This includes 106 pairs of shoes that were donated by Dr. Comfort of Mequon.  We thank them for their generosity!  We were able to fill Trish Kagerbauer's ca...
