LWML members are Lutheran Women in Mission. 
Through the LWML, thousands of volunteers daily dedicate their lives to making a difference in this world. They prepare for this through prayer and interesting, encouraging Bible studies.
The LWML helps women of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod (LCMS) find avenues to use their God-given talents as they joyfully share the Good News of Jesus Christ with people far and near.
One of LWML’s primary means for carrying this out is through mite offerings donated by each member. These moneys fund mission grants – for the national LWML and also the South Wisconsin District LWML. See the list of current recipients. | SWD-LWML Mission Grant #9 Paid. | | Monday, April 02, 2012 | | Grant #9, Scholarships for Inner City Kids to Camp LuWiSoMo for $22,000 has now been paid. This grant will help fund camp expenses for 20 children from Inner City Milwaukee LCMS schools and the S.O.S. Center. The goal of this grant is to impact children for Christ, build their faith and turn them into positive leaders who will become role models in their community.
